Interesting though is that this is an older version of the desk posted in the pool, but I'm sure you had your reasons picking this one over the latest. Even though I'm proud of my new shelf and laptop-stand :)

Ventilation is really a problem here, especially with the MBA, since it's airflow intake is situated under the keys.

When I plugg in my MBA into my external screen I have too put a magnet on the laptop tricking it the lid is closed in order to run on only the external screen while still having the lid open to not hinder air intake.

I have the Urbanears Bagis and I must say I like them a lot, the clip-behind-neck function and single button control works like a charm.

I second having a UV filter for that exact purpose.

One neat feature is as protection for the lens, if you (god forbid) drop your camera or something hits it, like a branch or a flying stone from a road, it's much less expensive and hassle to just change the filter than the whole lens.

Somehow I saw directly that that picture was from Sweden, I just knew it.
