Much of the Wedgwood info on the internet contains errors, usually from a lack of research. This post is much better than most. However, Wedgwood did not develop transferware printing, Guy Green and partner did, and there is no longer any jasper being produced except rare large, expensive prestige ware pieces. The Christmas ornaments available from Wedgwood now are wonderful, expressive, and high quality, but they are not jasperware. Many don't care about that, but to be accurate, they are a porcelain type product, but not jasperware.
