This is another one of those bedrooms that I can't find a single thing I dislike. The colors, bedding, furniture, styling, all perfect. Good luck!

Ugh, I went through this with my ex when he moved in. He wanted his band posters all over the place, I like really retro looking vintage things and bright colors... it was not a good mix. He also didn't want to spend any money on anything (unless it directly benefitted him- like a 47" tv, but wouldn't buy new bed sheets or even help me paint).

Fast forward to now and my boyfriend and I are on the same page completely. He doesn't even live with me but asked if he could help decorate my new apartment when I moved last month. So far its been a lot of fun and its really nice to know that he takes just as much pride in making my crummy little apartment into a home as I do.

When my boyfriend isn't around: Lots of Ramen noodles, hours of criminal minds episodes, everything in my sewing room ends up all over the couch in the living room, and I do any projects/ cleaning that I usually can't get done when he's home.
Oh yeah, and my cat sleeps in his spot on the bed (instead of at my feet).

To everyone who thinks it's completely ignorant to acknowledge other cultures in our homes: get over it. Go fight with strangers about something that matters.

My cat sleeps with me (when she want to). When its really cold she curls up next to me under the blankets. And when my boyfriend sleeps over, she sleeps in between our feet. I usually wake up to her staring at me, as creepy as it is I think she feels like she's being protective.
My ferrets however, prefer to sleep in my bed without me, and I'm perfectly okay with that.

Anywhere I live where my little family is all together and safe (me, my cat, and my two ferrets), I always feel at home.

My two ferrets ruin lots of things, mostly objects rather than furniture. Delilah, the little one, plots the mischief, and Charlie (the hefty one) helps carry it out. So far they have dug holes in the box spring of my bed so they can sleep inside of it. They also completely ruined my room mate's bed by doing the same thing, then they hid all of his shoes inside of it. Luckily they are adorable so he didn't mind. They did the same thing to the bottom of my couch- I had to take the legs off and now it sits directly on the ground so they can't crawl into it.
I'm glad that's all they've done, I try to do what I can to learn their habits and prevent household damage. Now if i could just get them to use the litter box 100% of them time....
