@sussitout, thank you for the word magnificent! i made the quilt. 5" squares of 7 different prints. actually, i pieced the quilt top and took to a local lady to have it quilted by a long arm quilting machine.

nathalie here, thanks everyone for the nice comments! @jmarquephoto i think the spool sewing birdies are a great project to sew. i made several of them for gifts and they were fun to make. i will second the wee wonderfuls book. i have the book, but have not gotten to sew anything from it yet. as for the dolls in the room, i made some of them, bought some, and received some as gifts from blogging friends. i also like the hop skip jump patterns for toys. they are super cute. good luck and keep on sewing. i'm addicted to it!
