Made it as directed, and it was an epic fail. Not enough coconut milk or green curry paste to give it any flavor at all. Extremely disappointed.

We have used cloth napkins at every meal for the last 3 years. It started out as an effort to use less paper, but it turned out that we enjoy it! It's hard to get company used to the idea of using them, though....

I am really turned off by recipes that call for several bowls. I'm always trying to figure out ways to stream line the directions to make it more friendly to everyday. Oh, and I also get annoyed with ingredients like "large onion" without giving volume or weights as a guide.

I've been a flexitarian since before it had a name. I enjoy meat, but will choose vegetarian options (or just a smaller meat v. veggie ratio) about 75% of the time. I am very aware of ensuring that I get sufficient protein by other methods, and it has helped me maintain a healthy weight without issue.

Before I developed a peanut allergy, my secret food was Cheez-its dipped in peanut butter. I haven't discovered a snack that would make me feel so deliciously guilty since!

I agree that it is hard to explain because I think that it means many different things to different people. For me, it's simultaneously relaxing (especially after a bad day), exciting (when a new recipe works out), and satisfying (to put QUALITY food on the table for the ones you love). I also think it has something to do with my being a control freak, and the fact that I would simply prefer to prepare that food so I know it's done w/ my favorite ingredients and seasonings and I know what's in it....

I use chipotle peppers in adobo sauce for just about everything. Especially when using a crock pot, I throw one of the who peppers in and it imparts a subtle heat to chicken, pork, stews, etc.
