I only had the small swing for my son - he spent his first three months sleeping in it most of the time. I loved it. :) Good or Bad Experience with Small, Portable Baby Swings? Good Questions |

As a tiny baby, my son loved to bounce (exercise ball), he didn't want anything to do with the rocker. Now that he is 9 months old, the big squishy rocker we have in his (110 sq ft) nursery is really nice for story time as well as bedtime/wake up feedings. It's so important to have a comfy place to sit, not only for nursing/soothing, but as the baby gets older for snuggles and story time. That said, the rocker is HUGE in his nursery, I expect it to move out when he transitions to a big kid bed. I bought one that is pretty neutral so it can be in the living area later. When I used a duvet cover, I always ended up with the filler blanket bunched at the bottom, holding a sad empty fabric sack up by my face. I much prefer comforters, even if they're a pain to clean. On The Problem With Duvet Covers |

I'm a history nerd, so my non-fiction is arranged by country/region and then chronologically. My fiction is more organic - arranged by author, but favorite up high and less-favorite as you go down. 9 Ways to Organize Books: Which Is Your Style? |

I have a glockenspiel that features in my earliest memories of Christmas. I used to love watching the horses go round and round and ring the bells. It's still the one decoration I must put up at Christmastime. What's Your Favorite Holiday Heirloom? |

Why do you need a separate appliance at all? A blender or food processor works just as well. Mush by Boon: Manual Baby Food Processor |
