My favorite holiday song is "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" because I did see that. I was way too old when I realized that the Santa outfit was not for me and the siblings but for Mom & Dad. I have mixed feelings about these units. They really limit the way a small apartment space can be used. When I was shopping for a murphy bed, I saw a unit here in NYC....some place near 3rd Av & in the 30's....with a sofa built into it. Initally it seemed like a good idea. However, the quality of the sofa was poor, it was uncomfortable to sit on and came in very limited choices of fabric. I ended up with a sleeper sofa and feel that I made the best possible choice. I live in a coop. In order to install this type of filter I would first have to go to the Board for approval, shop for a qualifing plumber to install the dedicated line for the filter and pay for the filter. Sorry. I am not going to put the money out for that. I do use the Brita filter attached to the faucet and while it may not be wonderful design in terms of the enviroment, but given all of the particulate matter I see on the screen of the faucet, I think the Brita is a better bet for my health.
