I think this party was just for the author and three friends with kids all potty training. Something small like this where the parents bond over the stress and the kids get a big happy shove that makes them more likely to be excited about it seems fine to me.

You could use a canvas drop cloth for this, too. I am just thinking about my students (ages 5-8 with special needs) and would want it to be durable and then they could use washable markers, too, so no one's clothes get ruined. Excellent idea!

The only problem with this is the twins will want to be together. We put our girls cribs right next to each other because they want to interact.

Put a built in bench with a nice cushion on the bottom, storage underneath. Then put a set of shelves flush with the ceiling. Next hang a piece of art. More seating for your living room and looks very custom instead of an obvious, "What used to be there?"

We keep the bug bite ointment in the fridge. It doesn't prolong the life but it feels really great when you have an itchy bite.

We are a two mom household and our twins have hyphenated last names. It is a way for us to tell the world (including my wife's family) that these are OUR children.

We used velcro to mount a mirror on the sloped wall above our twins' crib. It worked great but it did rip the paper off of the drywall when they moved into a bigger room.

I have hatched a crazy plan to make the turnovers and the roast stew. Then put a turnover in the bowl and put stew on top. I think it will be delicious!
