Why hasn't my spinach germinated yet? It's fertilized, hasn't become waterlogged or deprived of water, the sun has shone more than usual, yet still, nothing. I'm never buying furniture on ebay again! Both of my furniture buying experiences have been awful. I bought a Kagan style chair that was destroyed in shipping (thank goodness it had been insured). The worst though was buying a vintage sofa from a seller with a reasonable amount of positive feedback. 2 weeks after my $500 payment cleared they disappeared, never to be heard from again. Didn't answer emails, calls, and took their other items down. I realized that the item had never been shipped after the 30 day mark and ebay was unable to help. josie and jgardner, you could try using a decent quality wrapping paper. they usually come in rolls of 25 feet or less and are much less expensive than wallpaper. I rather like this space, it is a good use of only 400 sq feet, the colors are unified and the entrant obviously loves the space. I purchased the Corona as well and while it has similar lines and the legs are the same; I think this sofa looks sleeker because of the double row of tufting, the 2 seat cushions (instead of 3) and what looks to be a lower seat height. I got one of these a few months ago and it is wonderful for a once-over for my hardwood and small area rug. I wouldn't use a larger vacuum as often but it's so small and light it's easy to just grab it off the charger and get rid of those persistent hairballs the dogs leave in their wake. As a landlord (with only one unit) I am open to suggestions about improvements to the space. Especially if the tennant agrees to offset a portion of the costs/ sign a longer lease/ do the install themselves (but only if experienced and meticulous). about 1100 square feet for just myself. I feel decadant admitting that I have that much space just for me. Add to that a garage, a garden shed and 5k sq foot garden and I do believe that I'm taking up more than my fair share of space. The last place in which I lived by myself was a 350sq foot studio. I found chairs very similar to yours that were upholstered in an awful black vinyl. All you have to do to reupholster them is to unscrew the seats, pry all those staples out and stretch a fabric to fit and restaple. (you might need new foam if it has started to disintegrate.) Other than that, try some wood conditioner to get rid of the worn look and polish up the metal and you will likely be very happy with the result.
