mmm why not go with taller cabinets but have an over the range microwave. then have some vent tubing or whatever you call it lead from the microwave to the vent...obviously this would all happen inside the cabinet above the microwave but that would be my choice since you could still take full advantage of that vent...just a thought. I do own a record player, in fact I have 3...dont ask. I only have one connected its a classic technics. I buy quite a bit of vinyl from punk rock to metal to some classics. I dont use it as much as Id like due to the location it is in...Im hoping to upgrade to a usb turntable to plug into my mac....soon when i have the cash. I was actually contemplating the exact same thing...however Id like to paint the pine the color of the drawers. Anyone have any clue if its just a simple black or what? I have to say I still buy DVDs, CDs, Books and yes Records. I dont just buy all of these for the content, I buy them for their outward apperance/packaging. Being a Graphic Designer I love the designs of some of these products...now mind you I do buy for the content specifically but I love having something in my hands thats tangible. I like downloading content but it will never replace a tangible product for me. If the future all goes digital and no actual products it will be a cold cold world for me.
