One of my favorite childhood memories is playing with a mini tin mailbox that my grandma had out on her coffee table. She would always fill it with a treat or note for me to find when I would come visit. Love the idea of having a big one in a kid's room!

Put them on the free section on Cragislist, if you're not going to reuse them in some way ditch the clutter.

My little Boston Terrier (around 18lbs) sleeps between my husband and I. She refuses to sleep on top of the covers or on either side of us. :) I'm around 8 weeks pregnant and just this week Barlow has started to want to sleep in her crate at night. Has anyone else noticed changes in sleeping arrangements with their pups while they were expecting?

I have that lamp from CB2 and as a fellow interior designer...I love it. I do think it belongs in a living space though. I have mine next to my long mid century sofa. Since the switch is at the bottom of the lamp I would think it'd be difficult to use it as a nightlight or reading light. I think the asymmetry is fine but the functionality just isn't there. I would consider getting another bedside lamp and finding a drum shade pendant to hang over your bed if you like the romantic aspect of the lamp hanging above.

To the people who are concerned with it getting in the way of sex that's just craziness. It's not hanging in the middle of the bed. :) Hope this helps.

This made me cuss when I saw it I love it so much! Haha. As a designer I'm not "in love" with a lot of places but get super inspired and guess what...I'm totally in love with your space and super inspired. Kudos to you, where'd you score that sweet Eames Lounge chair? Also what's that awesome U shaped wood thing in your bedroom? It looks like something used for cattle. Am I way off? Also love the mini globe collection. :) There's too many things I love to comment on.

I've always loved sending and receiving holiday cards. It's the part of the holidays that I love. Each time I open the mailbox and get a Christmas card it's like getting a mini-gift. Getting greetings in the mail is a dying tradition so it means even more to get one in the age of technology overload. I don't think I'll ever stop sending out cards unless it becomes a financial issue or something. I really can't believe there are people out there who hate holiday cards...really you hate holiday cards??? that's just craziness.
