If you'd like the accent color to look more like a color and less like a neutral, you should look to the opposite side of the color wheel. That suggests blue, as the first commenter did. I would also consider aubergine for a pretty interesting combo. That would help shift the tile back to white, of that's what you're after. Color Suggestions for Travertine Tiled Bath? I always make a White Spice Cake from The Cake Bible. It freezes beautifully and makes for a more-complex-than-poundcake base for fruits and artisan ice creams....instant desserts for unexpected company. Every reputable resource on food preservation in the US says that oven canning is no longer considered safe. I know my friends overseas use all kinds of "unsafe" canning procedures, but it is hard to imagine an author/editor/publisher in this country ignoring so many expert opinions about something as important as food safety.
