It's funny to see the outdated before pictures and imagine a future homeowner updating the current renovation to be less 2013. From an initial investment and resale strategy, it's safer to renovate classic and neutral and to use disposable decorating to get a look; styles change in a blink. With that said, the DIY aspect is very impressive.

Really great but agree with the Valley of the Dolls comment. By now it's just a big cultural stereotype for people of a certain. Except for that everything is really well done. Share it with your friends...

Every renovation should be considered from a real estate resale perspective. One person's fabulous idea of what a craftsman interior should be like should be tested by how it might affect resale. My guess is that the design direction (especially the blonde floors which will likely be out of style quickly) will sadly limit the number of potential buyers. Novices get so wrapped up in design that they often forget the big picture....

How long until a litany of comments about the bedroom pillow?
