This is such a cute lamp! But one other one that I've been dreaming about for my living room is a Jonathan Adler floor lamp. I don't know the name of it, but it has a large, heavy, white-lacquered turned-wood base with a drum shade. Heaven! But, like Heaven, it's slightly out of my range. We live in Austin & have a college student (a senior in child development/education) come by twice a week to take care of our 4 month old daughter. People gave us a ton of baby books. Dr. Sear's The Baby Book was one that was very useful for breastfeeding, but I don't care for it much otherwise (too preachy & guilt-inducing). Baby 411 is my favorite, hands down. It's laid out in a simple question & answer format, indexed by topic. If you're anything like me, it's nearly impossible to find the time to read through some of the wordy tomes out there to get the little bit of information you are looking for, so Baby 411 was a godsend. I love dark chocolate with almonds, especially when it's not very sweet. For fun, I love the children's chocolate treat "Kinder Surprise", which is unfortunately not available in the US.
