This is so interesting to me. I am moving from a large house in the PA suburbs to a small apartment in Austin, TX in May. My husband and dog are already there, but I'm not used to having to watch myself. Any tips for someone who hasn't apartment dwelled in 7 years? Second the Bittman recipe. Definitely less ingredients. I love using his quick yogurt sauce (yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper) on top of them. I usually only make them in summer when zucchini is plentiful and cheap, but I may need to make a winter version. Quick Recipe: Healthier Zucchini and Carrot Fritters |

Made this tonight - this is delicious and I had it with steamed broccoli. The only thing I did differently is add some red chili flakes for some heat, but next time I will add a sliced onion with the fennel. I second ottowoman in saying it smelled amazing. I've used a pretty generic tamarind chutney I found in the international isle, but I bought a bunch from Amazon cheap. Keeps forever. Seeking Suggestions: Substitutes for Tamarind in Pad Thai? |
