Personally I want to know what the layout of their flat is. i can never figure it out and it just annoys me for some reason.

This just seems like a terrible idea in the making. Idiots will say, "oh, I have a light so I'm totally safe!" and use this, potentially causing accidents.

I've had AT&T and Verizon before. Verizon had good customer service but ridiculously high and AT&T was terrible in just about every way possible. I now have Sprint and love the unlimited data (it was awesome to go from paying $200+ a month w/ AT&T for hotspot data to one fixed rate), but once my contract ends I'm probably going to switch to prepaid because $79.99 (though I do get a discount, which is nice) is just too pay much to pay every month.

I've never broken an iPhone, though I have had one stolen (a month after buying it, no less!). I've only broken a smartphone once, when an ex decided to move the stabilizer from a pop-up camper I was renovating, which resulted in the hammer I had on a cabinet flying into my Droid and absolutely shattering the screen.

Personally, while I like the iPhone enough, I think there's waaaay sturdier smartphones out there. My old Nexus S (which was caseless) was dropped constantly and the worst that ever happened was I had to put the battery back in it. I can't imagine dropping my iPhone in its Otterbox, let alone naked.

I bought a cheap Vera Bradley wristlet on ebay and it fits my smartphone, a few cards, and attaches to my keys. If I want to use my phone I just pull it out and am good to go. It's not amazingly stylish but it's ultra light and hard to lose.

I second the coffee table. I'd love to find some similar tables for my living room and bedroom.

I was cable free until I moved in with my current roommates, who are obsessed with crappy reality tv. It worked well since I could get ABC, NBC, fox, and some random channels OTA and use Netflix, Hulu, and HboGo for everything else. The only issue was I could never get PBS OTA.

I'm thinking about getting rid of cable again and wish there was some way to get PBS.

It seriously sounds like somebody who does marketing or pr for well kept invaded this post. It's ridiculous to spend $5 on 15 disposable wipes, end of.

Does anybody know of any similar versions of the couch in picture 7 for around $1,000? Or a similar rug to picture 3? I love both of them.

I like the recesses in the wall, the floor, and the glass shower, but those walls are so boring and ugly.

That is an absolutely ridiculous price to pay for a TV with fancy audio equipment. It must be nice to have money to throw away on things like that.

Oh, and I never bothered with taping because it took too much time. Instead I just used a piece of plastic (there's guides you can buy at home improvement stores but I just used an old piece of broken vinyl siding), placed it flush against what I didn't want to get paint on (ie, a window sill or baseboards), painted up flush to it and moved on to the next area.

I could generally paint an apartment (2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living room) in about 2 days using that method and I never had an issue with the quality of work.

Should I Paint Before or After Moving In? Good Questions

I used to work as a painter for my college housing office, which meant I had to go into the recently emptied dorms and paint everything. It took ages because I had to move furniture, avoid splashing pant on things, etc. Definitely paint before if you can.

I also suggest painting it yourself. It's really not hard once you get the hang of it. Cut in carefully and once that's done you can roll the walls and everything else pretty quickly. Make sure you patch over any imperfections before painting so they won't be seen under the paint.

As Liz Lemon once said, I want to go to there! I love every bit of this home. I want all the textiles and pillows, they're all so adorable and cosy looking.

Where is the coffee table in the living room from? I'm looking for a similar one.

JFC, some of you need to relax and not nitpick everything about this place because it doesn't fit your preconceived notion about "budget."

Ruthie, this is a lovely and inspiring home and I'm glad to see my hometown so well represented.

To all the people responding to the outraged comments with "oh, it's just a bit of fun", "the OP is clearly culturally sensitive, so just relax" and other variants, here is a direct quote from the original source:

"A teepee is not hard to make, although we did not follow exact American Indian standards, as we tried to keep it simple and fun. "

That right there shows the poster's ignorance. There are hundreds of unique Native American tribes through the U.S., each with a unique set of beliefs, traditions, etc. The poster just lumped all of those tribes into one huge homogenous entity just in the name of "keep(ing) it simple and fun."

As someone who is part Chickasaw and has repeatedly had to explain that, yes Native Americans still and exist, and no, we're not all the same, I find things like this personally offensive.

Furthermore, it's incredibly entitled and dismissive to dismiss people's valid complaints/issues with this just because YOU don't see anything negative in it.
