Geez where to begin.
Husband and I want to home brew beer as it is, I love root beer soda and ginger sodas as well as hard ciders which many ppl in my family love as well. Sigh. So many choices.

I can't live without my immersion blender or my cast iron skillet from lodge logic. Neither one of these items cost me a lot, but they are essential.
I am saving up for stainless steel allclad pots and pans.

Kosher chicken. Couple times in NYC from fairway uws and key foods in Washington heights and once from trader joes in bala cynwyd pa.
Gotta smell that stuff before buying, nothing is worse to me than spoiled meat.
Depends on the produce, usually I just chuck it since its hard to determine if something is bad on the inside.

Um, that fridge thing seems really weird and space specific. The others I can understand, the fridge not so much

I did have on hand some adobo chipotle peppers and added one in. Holy moly batman. Yuuuum. We had seconds and my husband said hopefully, burgers all week? Yay.

Ok. Here's my two cents on this based on the flavor alone. I haven't put them in the skillet yet. It seems from the other comments that there should be some heat so I added to my black beans some chipotle powder and some smoked Spanish paprika and mushed with a bit of olive oil. Some ppl seem to say there is some kind of smokey sweet flavor as well. So I added molasses to taste. I have to say I'm pretty happy with how it smells and tastes pre-cooking. I might add an egg, it does seem a bit loose. I personally don't like mucho beans, so I'm happy with the beet bean ratio. I hope this turns out well!

I feel like if one has to ask if their space is too big, then it is.
I have a tiny Manhattan apartment where nothing makes sense- the counter next to the fridge doesn't have any electrical outlets.
I think layout wins in the end even if the space is too big.

do not- do not- do not while the immersion blender is still plugged in, attempt to unstick the blade with your finger.

i didn't have to get stitches- but i bloodied my friends' apartment pretty badly

while the initial idea is pretty cool, I'm tending to agree with all the smell/clean up issues. major ik.
also to have something so specific designed and built into the back splash seems a bit excessive/over the top.

i finally picked up the ikea salad spinner! and it has made my life so much easier since we're big greens eaters.
design wise it's fine, it's a bit annoying to handle sometimes, but for the price i really can't complain too much.

As I'm reading through the comments, I'm realizing that I don't really use my microwave that much. it's really a space for the breadbox to sit on. I use a kettle for water, I reheat most things on the stove, and make popcorn on the stove. I DO use it to melt chocolate, but I don't like to. Maybe it's time to rethink my microwave ownership.

I've had my garlic press for years. If I have the microplane out I use that instead, the press is great when it's the only tool in use.

My immersion blender is actually the one my mom bought about 20 years ago and then gave it to me a couple of years ago. And I'm afraid I haven't utilized it to its fullest potential, but I love it anyways.

I raised a bit of eyebrow at the cooking time. My standard lemon square recipes calls for a baking time of 30 minutes. And these are only for 15? do they really come out done enough for that duration?
Other than that, o.m.g, I need to make these NOW.
