an herb garden

so I gulped a little when I opened the cure email this afternoon. NO!! not my beloved kitchen gadgetry.. but here is where I need to be realistic with myself. at twenty two I have amassed enough kitchen crap to rival that of a forty year old mother of three. Now this was useful when I lived with/near friends and had an oven and a gas range but now that it is simply me ( the cat) two electric burners and a toaster oven it is time to adjust. Now I don't have random things, pretty much everything I have is useful, I try to steer clear of unitaskers as well, but my most of my things are hand me downs from my beloved mother's kitchen (as in, it's good expensive stuff!!) most of the things not commonly used are kept in a big *gasp* plastic bin ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/aubreylane/4010772592/in/set-72157622457408303/) which is hidden in my kitchen because I do think I have a use for most of it, just not the space ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/aubreylane/sets/72157622457408303/ ) ... should I keep what ever I do decide to keep there? box the less commonly used things up and put it in my storage unit for when I have a larger living space? !! help !! also, I know I am going to need to keep some of the things in that bin & that is really the best solution i have (though if others can think of anything pllleeeaaassee share) to hide it's ugliness I have draped a tapestry over the bottom rack but it still shows the sides... if anyone has any suggestions on how I could hide the bin more stylishly I would love to hear.
