When you say 36% of you net income, is it for the couple?
My BF and I are looking to buy a house, because we've met so many people telling us: «you pay more for the appartment you rent than we pay for our house» (appartment are not cheap in Rimouski, but houses are right now, and interest rates are very low, around 2.9%)
Is it 36% of both our net income together, or 36% of each of our incomes?

I am kind of afraid of buying those on the Bento&Co website. I fear the hidden fees and everything. Do you know if there is a place in Canada or in US that sells those?

I'm moving in with my boyfriend and we decided the bedroom will be a no-tech environment: no computers, no laptop, no cellphone and no gaming thingys. I am sure this is going to help both of us, because we're not only losing precious time before going to bed, but also when we wake up.

But you can still buy some decals that imitate chalkboard paint. You buy like 31 and you can place it the way you want on your wall. It's easily removable and sticks to every surface.

Having friends over for brunch on a sunny sunday, and doing the dishes with The Kinks and The Rolling Stones blasting out at full volume. Then I wonder «Could it get better?».

I used to live in an apartment where I had neighboors under. I placed a little cushion right under the subwoofer, too prevent the vibration from going to the floor (or the ceiling of my neighboors). Used to work just fine, i wasn't losing any sound quality, my neighboors have always been happy and I chose a cute cushion that fitted in my room.
