What a funny vid ... I loved the holding the plant part (with the banana in the plant) - funny! Ok, I will 'disconnect', have a lovely candlelight dinner with my hubby (with NO tv on) + read a book tonight while listening to the crickets outside (instead of music) :)

I love the fruit ideas .. and implement it quite often ... where I forget to eat the fruit bec. I see it more as colorful decor haha. I went apple picking recently and we got tons of apples that I knew 1/2 would simply be gorgeous decor .., somethign about it being fresh (flowers and fruit) that is very invigorating .. def puts a smile in my face :)

It is soo peaceful (great landing!) when we have designated spots for our stuff ... I purchased a plank of wood from Home depot, had them cut it to size of my foyer width, stained it, then added hooks to use as our coat rack (in the cold season) and pool / beach towels (for the warm seasons).

I am only now started the assignment (better late than never huh!). So glad that this assigment was the 1st .. I choose my home office to be 'the room' ... and oooh boy did it have dust bunnies galore, I cheated not used a vacuum (we don't get along :) But I sweeped and added to the clean ... dusting all the base molding in the room. Also .. and eye opener viewing my cow hide rug ... it looked like it had dandruff (eeeewwww) and now it's back to being happy :) THANK YOU for this assignment. I'll post pics in Flickr group.

Day 1: Clean One Room
The 20/20 Home Cure

Love this 'cure' ... I didn't go to the market for flowers (so I cheated a bit) .. instead I got flowers from my garden (few daisies ... placed them in a few different places in my office) and one gorgeous rose my hubby picked for my the other day. I'll post some pics in the Flickr group :)

My tip on the cat issues: if u can perhaps place the flowers up high ... like in bookcase shelves (replacing a decor that you have may with the flowers), also some cats do not like the water ... so maybe a cute small bunch in your bathroom counter (sink) or your kitchen counter (near sink). I hope u all enjoy ur flowers :)
