It looks like something they could have purchased at Best Buy. I'm not a fan of media consoles like this. The idea is cool, I guess, but it just seems so garish. I would have kept the easel and purchased a nice unit that could hide the equipment rather than making it so overbearing. To each his or her own, though. Still a neat idea.

I disagree with cittykitty. I think the color is lovely and unexpected. It looks more like fuscia/coral. I also love the fabric accent. I think you did a great job. The piece was very dark and drab before. Now it's bright and modern.

Meh. I feel like it would cast horrendous shadows.

The green dresser is gorgeous. What an interesting article. I've always been fascinated by the history of common furniture pieces. I remember seeing an episode of Antiques Roadshow in which a man brought an antique dresser that was actually one of the first pieces of "modular" furniture. It incorporated a number of interesting details including a sink, hidden storage, and other cool features.

I love the architecture, but I agree with everyone else. For a lodge-style home, I can handle the poor dead deer on the wall, but the dead animal on the couch is just disgusting. I would have nightmares in that living room.

There are some fabulous printed curtains and duvets on the urban outfitters website. I bought a pair of curtain/sheers in a pattern called Garden Bird which might be quite lovely in your studio!
