Sorry, I couldn't make head nor tail of your instructions. 1 yard = 36 inches, right? so from a piece of fabric measuring 54 by 36 inches you have to cut out 1 piece measuring 41 x 28.5? It is not clear whether you are supposed to get one or two pieces if fabric at this stage? I'm lost!
