Trader Joes' new "Everyday Seasoning" has mustard seeds (as well as salt, pepper, coriander, onion, garlic, paprika and chilli pepper) and is delicious on fried eggs. Mmm...

I heartily recommend the seasoning--it's truly great on everything.

Fried Egg Mix-In: Whole Grain Mustard

I have used mine for both whipped cream (extremely fast!) and for making mayonnaise, when I had a lot of eggs to use up. I know that there is a whisk attachment for my blender, but the standard attachment worked just fine.
It works great for making things like salsa and salad dressing, too.
(I have read that immersion blenders aren't fond of ice cubes, so I would be careful using it for smoothies using those. It does, however, work great for green smoothies/smoothies using oats as a thickener.)

Any chance on some info on the folding screen? I love it, and have been looking for something like that for a while now as a sort of headboard.

Setting Up a Temporary Guest Room in the Living Room

I've only had 2 roommates, both in college.

I thought the first one would be a good one, because she was Asian and seemed like the stereotypical quiet, clean Asian.

Nuh-uh.

Slowly, as the semester went on, she started going seriously off her rocker. She accused me several times of stealing and/or hiding her things (I never did), she accused my faux-oriental bedspread of being "Satanic" because it had dragons on it, she bothered me about converting/being more Christian, she bothered me to exercise because she perceived me as overweight (I'm actually quite healthy, thanks), she would sing pop songs loudly and off-key while I was attempting to study or read. The worst part, though, was that she started laughing. Not just a little -- all the time. In the room, in the (communal) bathroom, down the hallway...it got to the point that, after I switched rooms, I said "that laughing girl" and anyone on my floor knew who she was.

My second roommate was so much better!

Make chocolate yogurt!

Stir 4 packets into 32 oz of plain yogurt (or 1 packet for 8 oz). I like greek, but whole-milk, creamline is good too! It's best after you let it sit for a day or overnight, but, it's great right off the bat, too.

Mmmm...delicious!
