This is beautifully done! Wonderful use of color and I also LOVE the chest of drawers. It's unexpected and adds a certain something. Just lovely.

Thank you for sharing this! My husband teaches at a school where most of the students qualify for free and reduced lunch. That means that they can't afford opt out of school lunches. Many of them eat a free breakfast at school, too. Raising awareness is the first step to bringing about change. Thanks again for sharing.

Oh, these are ADORABLE! And so smart! I wish I could afford one for every member of the family. Maybe it will go on next year's Christmas list...

I would love a kitchen just like this! We have a galley kitchen that needs re-doing so this is very inspiring. I used to want a bigger kitchen, but now I enjoy the smaller space. It makes for less clean up, and it forces me to edit what I keep in there. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Yes! We gave our 1.5-yr-old daughter ONE present, but aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents didn't shop with the same restraint. We put lots of new (and old) toys away and will rotate them in and out.

I LOVE this! That yellow bed is perfect! I would have a hard time keeping those beautiful white floors clean, but it would be worth it!

I've been using craft paper and letting my almost 2-year-old daughter draw, stick stickers, and even stamp (although that get's messy!) this year. It is personalized wrapping paper that has also been a great activity for her when it's so cold out! I love the yarn with the gifts, though. We have been using grosgrain ribbon, which is cute but expensive.

Our 20-month-old loves to bang away on the upright piano in the living room. The guitars are a little less toddler friendly, so we're going to hang them on the wall... probably in the living room. Hey, if you've got, flaunt it!

I love this room! I love the aesthetic. I love that the kids share the space. And I love the thriftiness! I also voted for your room on Apartment Therapy and didn't realize these rooms were in the same house until I wandered over to your blog. Simply lovely!
