So amazing. I'm searching for a child table and chairs now, but this is way out of my budget (at least at this point).

Okay - pinned it! I love that and when I finally convince my husband to let me re-do the cracked and cheesy tile in the kitchen...I'm gonna make him let me do this. I LOVE it.

benjamin moore has one called chocolate mousse that would look great (I think its benjamin moore).

We just went through this. We ended up going WAY over budget, but we're a little obsessed with just how poison mattresses are (sids has gone up possibly because of poisons in mattresses). We bought ourselves an organic all natural latex rubber mattress about a year ago from a local store (covered in an organic wool cover) and when we had to buy our boy a new mattress this year, we went back there after going to futon stores and ikea and realizing that they ALL have flame retardants and it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get something really natural.

A word of advice, get a full or queen - our boy rolls around a good bit, but doesn't fall off this one. Plus, when he's sick or just needs an extra cuddle, we are way more comfy.

First thing for me in a rug are colors that don't contrast too much. Anything with white contrasting with a dark color is going to show dirt. Then its all about how much shedding and care. Then its about look. I think rugs styles change WAY to drastically over time (just search for rugs on craigslist), so something that isn't too "interesting" will help it hang out for awhile.

I don't have linen sheets, but mine are wrinkled already! With a one year old, we're lucky to iron our clothes, there's no time to iron sheets (and folding straight out of the dryer, forget it).

Not sure I'd consider it "sexy" but if linen sheets feel good - then I'd go for it.

Any ideas for a storage bench that's pretty? Or an extra long (8-9 feet long) one?

Our sofa is from Amazon. I love to lounge, but wasn't finding what I wanted in our price range (between 800-1500) in a sectional. I hated the idea of leather but we went for it and I actually love it. It is really really comfortable and the munchkin can't destroy it. It was quite scary to buy online, but I would do it again.

I always have to make a plug for breakfast burritos.
Cook up scrambled eggs (we add spinach, bell pepers, onions, cumin, and adobo sauce).
put a small amount in a flour (or whole wheat) tortilla
Add beans (diy refried beans in our house)
cheddar cheese
and we like chipotle tobasco sauce
wrap up - tightly cover in saran wrap and throw in the freezer.

It takes awhile and an assembly line to do it, but is healthy and delicious.

Unwrap and microwave for 2-3 minutes (flipping and checking for cold spots) and enjoy!

That is FANTASTIC! SO many kids toys are just u-g-l-y. So cute in the yard!
