My household consists of 2 adults and no kids. My boyfriend and I each do our own laundry, mainly because of control issues we both have about our stuff (honestly I wouldn't mind doing his, but I wouldn't want him doing mine). No sorting involved, when my hamper is full I throw the laundry in all at once and wash on cold. This happens about once a week when my 3 sets of scrubs are all dirty. The scrubs and any nicer shirts are taken out of the dryer when they are still warm and hung up immediately so I don't have to iron. I've been known to leave the rest of the laundry in the dryer for a couple days though. Folding and putting away doesn't take long because I DO NOT fold my undies and I barely pair my socks (they are all the same anyway). Towels and sheets are washed every couple weeks, or as needed. My laundry routine used to be way more complicated when I was younger, but I saw the light! Not having to share facilities helps immensely!

In the last couple years I started using my cast iron skillet more often and that in and of itself I think has kept it well seasoned, if not completely non-stick to boot. After cooking I either wipe it out or fill it with water and let it sit for a while (no soap needed),then dry it thoroughly, spray it with olive oil and put it back in the oven where it resides until I need it again. I don't even wipe out the old oil before cooking. Just use the dang thing!

This should be voluntary and not something that is just done without your knowledge until you get the report. And it can't possibly see the whole house, right?

I loved the Berenstain Bears but did not even pick up on that connection between the organization in this particular book and my desire for it in my adult life! As a child I did have bouts of wanting to spend the whole day cleaning, organizing and re-arranging my bedroom though. I totally have to now go buy the whole series again!

It is soooo purty in my dining room. A little tough getting it onto the wall because there's nothing to hold on to while your coaxing the hanger onto the nail, but all was well in the end!

I'm afraid I'd be sighing every time I walked in to my kitchen and saw any of these, save for maybe what's in the 1st and 3rd pics. The purple oven? That's seriously better?

Etsy has determined I like handbags, dainty rings, drum shades, roman shades, and pillows. While correct, it doesn't quite give a sense of all of the OTHER wares to be had on the site. But yes, now I want these http://www.etsy.com/listing/62697811/new-kinies-classic-in-purple

I have a Lodge brand dutch oven and use it almost exclusively now for making my spaghetti sauce, chili, soup, stews and sauteing chicken. I learned from it that cast iron shouldn't be used at the highest heat on the stove top, med-hot is the highest you will need (#6 or 7 on my stove) otherwise everything burns. Since learning that I went back and started using my regular cast iron skillets to cook bacon and make corn bread. I would love an enameled skillet with a lid, then I could throw out my other non-stick pans!
