I've been a fan of their work for years! I love how they mix patterns in vibrant candy colors. It reminds me of some of the sets from Pushing Daisies.

I don't get grandma or 1968 from this at all. It's interesting and exciting. The dark floor tiles, peek of stairs and banister are enough to ground this for me. Not for minimalists, and that's exactly why it makes my eyeballs happy!

As a hostess, I try to make everyone feel welcome. My job is to be thoughtful towards all of my guests and ensure that everyone is comfortable and happy. It's just basic hospitality. It's not hard to make food that everyone will enjoy. If it means making one more entree to accommodate someone, so be it. I'm glad that my friends are more considerate to my dietary choices, and more gracious hosts, than some of these people.

Wow, some people are so intolerant. I wonder if they have any friends at all. What you eat is personal. Whether the restrictions are due to health issues or beliefs is inconsequential. If I enjoy someone's company and care enough about them to host them in my home, I will respect those restrictions. I find it close minded to think that because something is different it's automatically unpleasant.

Besides, it's not the big imposition that ladymantle and others make it out to be. I think she's the one exhibiting passive aggressive behavior. Grow up!
