Without being too negative, does anyone really realise this is a rental - which mean that whatever money you put in for renovation, you will never get out !

I only say this because it happened to two frineds of mine who made a rental place into their dream home by completely gutting the place. It looked fabuilous.

Sadly they broke up and the appartment could be enjoyed by the next tenant while they had to rent a crappy place themsleves each separately.

Only saying!!

An amazing apartment. But I cut short the browsing through the pictures as I can't concentrate with all the moving adverts flashing in my field of vision to the right hand side.I know you need adverts to be able to run your site but is there no other way- this is horrible!

Perfect and simple.I was planning to do this kind of set up for a long time with the area next to our house, knock a couple of old trees down and cut a window in the wall and then have an amazing view over the hills as we live right at the end of the village in the country- side.I hope this picture will convince my other half :-))))))

Ermm, I'm sorry everyone, aren't you all taking this a little bit too seriously ? I think it's a fun project.. and you don't have to buy it or make it by the way if you don't want to!
On a completely other note I find it a bit unnerving that an obviously talented and pretty young woman wears an enormeous tattoo above a delicate voile blouse - not sure if I will ever get used to this fashion of tattooing.

I think both before and after have good points. Not a yellow I would go for, but - hey' it's their furniture! And it looks nice with the rug.
@ellenx: I think I may be right that submissioins for " Before " and "After " projects should be sent to editorial@apartmenttherapy.com

And I guess you normally don't get emailed when you don't get featured.
I guess I am right, Apartment Therapy?
Anyhow, Ellen, even IF you get featured, you very seldom hear it :-)
Have a great rest of the week.
XOXO

Yes, a kitchen CAN be too big.Friends of mine bought a manor house, with a kitchen as big as the platform of a railway station ( a bit as your picture and then bigger ).It's so uncosy !!!
My tiniest kitchen I had as a student was about the size of a kitchen you have aboard a ship It was actually quite good to cook in as you had everything around you and could put your hand on everything immediately.

As with you, it turned out all right in the end- the link is here
