My favorite slow cooked dish is curried lamb stew with chickpeas and butternut squash with cilantro garnish... It is from an ancient new york times recipe, and I used to make it in my mother's creuset pot. I'm trying a new one tonight - also lamb, tagine with preserved lemons and olives. thanks for having the contest!
