Amen to all of this! So very true! We spend A LOT of time in our front yard and have developed very close relationships with our neighbors. We look out for each other and take care of mail and dogs--and kids!--when someone needs help. We finally put two chairs out on the front yard and add more to them when neighbors come by. My son calls it "frontyard time," and I'm so happy the weather has finally gotten nice so we can do it again. The #1 Reason for Hanging Out, Out Front |

We must be the same age, because I, too, was way too old to want a doll, but begged, hoped and even prayed for one. My first was a preemie--Erika Andi. Then I got Vinnie Frankie, after the hullaballo died down. I'm thinking of getting my daughter one this Christmas--or asking my Mom if she kept (or knows where!) my old ones are. Absolutely brilliant! I was just saying to a friend, what do I do with all the "junk"? And I felt bad throwing it away. I'm stealing these ideas, so thanks a ton! What To Do With All That Junk Two Chicks and a Hen |
