I really like how you've got a curtain up to act as a headboard. The shimmer on it gives your bed some vavoom :) Catherine's 1920s Studio |

I love Smart Pots for my patio. They aren't gorgeous, but they are really great containers that are inexpensive. They are fabric pots, so you can cut Xs and put plants in the side of the pots, which covers the black fabric. The fabric does a great job of keeping the roots aerated. <3 them. Our emergency information is taped inside the cabinet door closest to the telephone. You never see it unless you open that particular cabinet, and you never have to go digging for information in a crisis. Vet hospital # has been used several times that way. @snowdin: Do you live near a Trader Joe's? I think that's the best way to get fresh flowers into your home. I buy their smallest bouquet every other Saturday at the grocery store. It's $3.99, and they last an average of weeks. Wish that's what I spent on coffee! They really are pretty, but the bouquet is small. I fill it out a little bit with IKEA's white peonies. I have three and they are very fluffy. I mix them in with the real flowers, and they blend right in, but fill out the arrangement nicely. Before & After: Nicole's Totally Transformed Living Room |

I agree with everyone else about the longer tv stand, and it wouldn't have to be expensive, either. Also, I think the moustache over the door frame needs to go. How To Decorate Large Living Room Wall? Good Questions |

I love the Antique Rose Emporium online for container roses. ARE has a great filter where you can select the type of rose you're looking for and narrow down based on color, etc. The best part is their customer service...these people know EVERYTHING about roses. I've also heard great things about White Flower Farm for every plant under the sun. Both companies are notorious for delivering plants in great condition. Those of you with credit card offer problems should visit www.optoutprescreen.com. It doesn't affect your ability to receive a credit card if you apply for one, and doesn't affect your credit. But the FDIC is required to have a way to limit the amount of that stuff that you get. I just opted out of all credit card and insurance offers for a lifetime using that website. Hope it helps with your clutter! It should take about 3 months for it to completely phase out, since apparently if your name is already sold, they will mail whatever outstanding pieces they have for each person. Yeah, y'all are mean. How about some constructive criticism rather than just annihilating the poor girl. There are plenty of people who would love help from the apartment therapy community, but threads like this just scare people away. This one is my absolute favorite. I love that it's a beautiful use of color without being so in your face! I feel like I could really REST in there. I'm also naturally a "pattern" person. My bed currently has a big damask pattern, but I've learned that it's probably what's overpowering my small room. This makes me realize that I can incorporate patterns in smaller ways, like on pillows, in a small room. Very helpful. Kelly's "Moody Luxe" Bedroom |

Hey this might be a stupid question, but I love the look of curtains behind a headboard like this, that cover the whole wall. Do they actually make rods that huge, or is there some DIY trick to achieving this look? The 38th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House |
