Only now do I appreciate the long black,taupe,gray and cream shag carpet that I had in my childhood home. It hid everything! As I have been remodeling with 2 children and black lab in tow. the key questions have been is it durable,washable, will it hide, and if i would have to replace it in a couple of years would I be really annoyed.
