I wouldn't use a valance but hang the curtains above the molding with just one rod the whole length of the room and only two curtains. So when they're open the windows are completely clear. What Rod Placement with Large Window Moldings? Good Questions |

I know it's not exactly your question - Is the room big enough to place a high back sofa in front of it which would hide it and give you some privacy? I'm ruthless! I've been known to exchange gifts that were unappropriate. When something comes in, something has to go out to goodwill. The kids have trust accounts which relatives are welcome to contribute to. The children will be able to access them when they go to college.
