I owned an Aerobed in the past and the only way I was able to determine where the leaks were was to submerge portions of the bed in a tub of water. I determined that I had not one, but multiple leaks. Aerobad gladly exchanged the bed for a new one even though it was more than a year old. When the second bed developed leaks within one year, I decided not to bother with requesting a replacement. It was hell on my back to go to sleep on a full air bed and wake up in a semi deflated one. My butt would be on the floor and my feet were higher up.
I purchased a no name air bed from Modells on sale for $59. I've had it for the past 3 years and have not had one problem with it.

Home Depot, Lowes and just about all hardware stores carry cable management kits. I use them to hide electrical cords for lights and other devices. It makes a clean line that can hold up to 3 or 4 cords or cables at one time, so I'm pretty sure it will conceal the cable. The exposed side is smooth and can be painted if you like. The back of it adheres to the wall and has an opening the entire length that can hole the cable against the wall without staples. Hope thats helpful.
