You know the show that the latest winner of design star started? Where she matches people's homes to their personal clothing styles? I need that show in reverse. I think my home really reflects me, because my surroundings have to inspire me. But I don't really bother much when it comes to how I look -- tee shirts, jeans, pajamas. I always figure the lack of style extending from my home to myself is because I don't have to look at myself. Do You Resemble Your Home? |

I bought a house almost completely covered in knotty pine wood panelling. (The previous owner was really into a "cabin" look.) We painted it all, and I really like the texture it gives to our home. This is so funny because I am attempting to get back in the habit of having a morning routine starting today. I occasionally am successful for a while at having a morning routine, but it requires me to get up at least an hour before my toddler, and that is difficult! This morning, I got up, meditated, made myself a cup of hot chocolate (no coffee since I'm pregnant) and then sat down to have some quiet, uninterrupted time to read blogs and news online -- which I'm always drawn to do when my daughter is awake, but she doesn't like me to do.
