Old books make the best cord organizers. I hide my iPhone completely - along with my iPod shuffle and camera battery charger - in a stack of old books I made into a charging station: Nerdiest Thing Ever 2.0.

I did this to the surrounding area around a chalkboard I painted on my office wall, and everyone who visits compliments it. I used about 20 different books ranging from atlases to encyclopedias to old novels; the variety added great texture.

Use Elmer's white glue - cheap to buy in bulk and super easy to clean up. Probably easy to remove the paper too, given that it's water soluble, but I have no desire to remove my paper collage yet!

I shutdown my computer almost every night, not only for the power savings, but also because the computers run better after being shutdown. My browsers reopen the same tabs I was viewing when I shutdown, and all other programs I use daily automatically open at startup, so it's not a hassle to restart.

I prefer using credit for everything (even my $2 coffees), because it enables me to better track my budget - cash is like play money to me. Makes tax time easier too, not having to sort through paper receipts.

Credit isn't bad if you use it responsibly.

My late night emails and other work have demonstrated that I don't just work when I'm in the office. As a result, my employer is comfortable with giving me flex time (first employee ever) and I survived this year's budget cuts.

My most productive time is also 10pm-2am; I wouldn't get nearly as much done if I didn't work during this time.

"Nicknamed the 'Honeycomb' by Google"? Check your facts noob, the OS - Android v3.0 - is called Honeycomb, not the tablet.

My house is in desperate need of paint job and the money would go to fix up the inside, so I would definitely do this. My neighbors have yet to say hi to me anyway, so who cares what they think.

Very cool, yet livable home.

I like the use of space and the textures. I'm going to look past the awful HDR effect of the photos and favorite.

So jealous of the office - oh, to be surround by bookshelves. I also adore the retro kitchen.

Yay, red! Love the stark contrast the white creates; it also ties the rooms together nicely.

The variety of patterns are fun. Your place has lots of personality and is indeed cozy.

The dresser is lovely, but that's about the only thing that has character in the place. Hang the art (and I use that term loosely), and add some color; even just a plant would add some interest.

Too often a mostly white theme is boring, but you've pulled it off nicely; there's just enough black & bright colored accents.

Warm and cozy, especially for a loft. The kitchen chairs seem out of place though, like you ran out of money before you could buy better ones (I say this speaking from experience...).

There are so many cool elements in this place. I especially love the texture of the bedroom wall. However, I don't get the art on the floor trend that so many are doing - seems unfinished and odd to have to squat down to see artwork.

Not my style, but a very cohesive design. I do like the aged feeling of it all.

I like the idea of a graphic transformtion, but I think a dark stain would have looked better than paint.

I adore the shiny blue in the first house, but the room needs more color accents - looks like an unfinished coloring book picture.
