Anyone have any good advice about hanging a hammock? I have a beautiful one I brought back from Nicaragua. My husband won't drill into the garage but we do have a huge old tree in the yard. I'd love any info on mounting hardware, posts and/or stands people like! Best Summer Hammocks 2013 Apartment Therapy's Annual Guide |

One of the best before and afters I've ever seen. This is going at the very top of my "dream kitchen file." I love the blue island, the marble (!), the woodgrain door fronts, the hood... Plus, it looks incredibly functional with the triangle close but not crowded. Really beautiful job. Faith's Kitchen Renovation: The Big Reveal, the Final Result! I'm sorry, on what planet is an office chair costing over a grand considered budget? And how did you make your list? Does "best" mean "prettiest" or "most comfortable" or "most ergonomic?" I was excited for this article... then I read it. 10 Best Budget Task Chairs |

No that's a terrible idea. I'll take them off your hands for you. :) Seriously though I took an upholstery class through my local community college and it did take a lot longer to get them recovered than just paying, but they look awesome plus I have a new skill and bragging rights. Those chairs could really anchor a room but the foam has gotten misshapen and the stretched fabric has allowed it. Those chairs are worth the $$. Worth the Cost to Recover Vintage Chairs? As a knitter, I have got my wool washing to a science. Lukewarm water and a couple of squirts of hair conditioner in the bathroom sink. (Particularly good with dollar store stuff or a conditioner you bought and don't like.) Submerge your sweater squeezing it to make sure it absorbs the water. Let it sit 10-15 minutes. Rinse with clean lukewarm water. Squeeze as much water as I can out. Lay flat on a towel and roll the towel up. Then I stand on the roll to get as much water as possible out. Reshape and wait patiently for both the sweater to dry and the wool smell to leave wherever you're drying it. Voila! How To: Hand Wash a Cashmere Sweater |

I love this place but the chair in front of the narrow staircase is sort of weird. The living/work space is just perfect and the kitchen and bath combine style and livability in just the way I like it. Mazen's Tailored Toronto Townhouse House Tour |
