I can't recall where I got it, but it is one of the down-alternative comforters that is isn't very thick. It's for warmer weather/rooms so it's pretty flat. Angela's Nature Inspired Bedroom My Bedroom Retreat Contest |

I vote for the contact paper over the cabinet & drawer faces. It's what I did in my rental kitchen (see link below) and added new hardware. The contact paper isn't all that sticky so it should peel off pretty easily once I'm ready to move. Ideas for No-Painting Rental Kitchen? Good Questions |

I also think the blue is a nice contrast with the curtains, but the coolness of the furniture is what stands out to me as not matching. I would revise the curtains, which would be much easier than repainting the wall. Warm Curtains in a Cool Living Room? Good Questions |

It's a great change. I just wish the "after" photos would be more comparable to the "before" shots. The before shot for this kitchen is realistic; it gives a lived-in feel. But the after shot has no kitchen accessories whatsoever, nothing on the counter tops. Those may be small things but they also play a big part in the overall feel of the new room. I like the look of lucite/plastic chairs too, but have always wondered if anyone else sees it as impractical. After sitting on one for a while, wouldn't it make your butt pretty hot? And you surely wouldn't want to sit on them with shorts on. Modern Thanksgiving Tabletop Inspiration: Natural Accents, Lucite & White |

I have Marshmallow earbuds from Walmart. They were $20, which I was hesitant to spend at first. They come in different colors and 2 different size foam sleeves. I had trouble with others not fitting well or hurting. These are so comfy and work well as earplugs also. Alternatives to Apple's New Earpods: Better Sound For Less Than $100 |

I would consider what other colors you have in the other rooms of your home. I love when rooms have a flowing color palette. They can have different colors, but still have some congruence to them. So if you could let us know what other colors you're working with, it would help me, at least. :) How To Decorate Around Great Inherited Paintings? Good Questions |
