Ok it's not Halloween themed, but I have surplus of radishes and I need to find solutions. I envision a quick pickling - buttered bread - grilling kind of weekend. Very challenging for a vegetable that has the color of fruit but the taste of root.

If I twirl a long pasta around a fork, it's a bite that's sure to get lodged in my throat. I vote for breaking pasta instead into one pot of boiling water...or there's always penne.

This toaster oven has changed the way I cook. It saves so much preheating time, uses much less energy and has all the options needed for heating foods. It's almost at the top of my can't-live-without tools, but alas chef's knife, is still king.
