We have a braided leather rug from Overstock. It is on a super high kid/ dog traffic entry runway. It took a beating through all sorts of snow, rain, sand, grass and who knows what else was tracked in! It still looks fantastic after almost a year of use (abuse?). It was important to have a sticky rug pad as its slippery on bare floor. I'm impressed with it and I received tons of complements!! I found it hard to vacuum but easy enough to shake out.

What about a good old ranch? There is a reason so many were built. Boring but very functional. Not my dream but now that I just moved from a ranch to my "dream" home- there's a lot I miss about the simplicity of the ranch.

We just did our boys' room in Ben Silver Half Dollar-but told them it was "Star Wars Silver" so they love it. Its a bright and wonderful grey. Their rug in our new house is Mauve (ugh but in great shape) and we did one wall in Starry Night Blue. My friend has "Nickel" which is duller but still pretty.

Our fridge is the first thing you see when you walk in. It was covered with photos of our friends and family in neat magnetic frames. I took everything off when our house was on the market and Every Single Person who came in commented how they missed all the smiling faces.
