I am NOT looking forward to dealing with the danger zone that is my bedroom this weekend. These rooms make me want to clear it all out and start fresh!

The room came out beautifully! The color scheme is really nice, it creates such a chill mood. Kudos on being resourceful and creating such a great space!

These are great, even for a terrible seamstress like me! I'm in the middle of cleaning out my closet and I have so many fun tee shirts that I don't wear anymore but can't seem to give up. Found my solution! Thanks, AT!

Completely cutting out plastic is very difficult. It's easy, however, to make small changes that can add up very quickly. I've been trying to cut back on the disposables I use for a little over a year now, so I speak from experience. It's easier than you might think. Taking little steps and keeping track of your accomplishments is key!

Kudos to Taina Uitto for going the extra mile (marathon, really) and setting a high standard for the rest of us to aim for!

If someone were to ask me what I thought those were made of, I never would have guessed a material from stone! I wonder what they feel like. Intriguing!

This is pretty great, I wonder if they use their own process or if there's a sort of standard paint recycling process that's growing. I'll have to go visit them!

This is intriguing, but I'm not sure I'd want it as my bed. I think it would be darling as a children's bed! I wonder if it comes in a twin size.

What a great example of how drastically a paint color can change a room. I think I may have liked the blue better, but kudos to Pam for switching it up. It's a beautiful room!

I had this same problem in my old apartment! I ended up using it to hang jewelry on, which turned out to be a really great solution for me. But for you... I love the idea of hanging a plant on it! This might be a good place for a Woollypocket!

When you go, take me with you!
Where can I find more information about what makes these so sustainable and what they're made of? The pictures convey the visual harmony, I'd love to know more about the technical (read: nerdy) stuff!

Handmade gifts are the best kind! Last year I made just about all my gifts, but this year I'm running a little short on time. I'm still buying handmade, though! Thanks for the suggestions!

Wrapping is one of my favorite parts of giving gifts! In the past I've used recycled paper, but I think this year (for my many girl gifts) I'm going to use scarves and bandannas. I'll be sure to take pictures for you!

On one episode of Color Splash on HGTV, David put plexiglass panels on cabinet doors. Maybe you could try something like that? And paint the back of them so they would be opaque, if you preferred. Or maybe you could use a sheet of veneer!

Last year I stumbled on a pomegranate syrup that's excellent in champagne! Peach juice sounds like a great idea... I have a birthday bash to go to tonight, I'll have to bring some along with me!

Thanks for featuring this, I'm definitely going to have to go pick up that book.
