I love the glare on both of their monitors, both in the picture and in the short. I love Apple to death as well as the iMac, but I decided to go with a Macbook Pro and 27" Samsung LED monitor with anti-glare screen. I have an identical monitor setup in another room but usually dock my Macbook Air there. Either way, I end up with no glare at all. I will be so happy when Apple figures out a way to kill glare on all of their screens. If anyone can do it, they can.

I remember putting my first Blu-ray movie in my PS3 (connected to a 55" HDTV) and stopping it after a few minutes because I couldn't stop staring at the actors' and actress' pores. That was it for me. I just don't want to see that much detail. Maybe I am the only one. I have received some other movies as gifts on Blu-ray and as long as they are mostly rendered (animated) they are great. I am perfectly happy with the resolution I get from Netflix on my Apple TVs, PS3, XBOX, Wii, iPad, iPhone, etc. I think HD video is overrated; a feeling I do not share for audio.

Awesome! I will be doing this for my son, whenever he happens to come along, but with Final Fantasy artwork. I love Mario, but FF stole my heart and has had it ever since.

It looks like an upside down baking sheet on something black. I can't tell though.

So I see a white MacBook in the before picture, but can someone tell me what that gray thing is in after photos?

'Uncle Sam' wouldn't care whether or not you are in compliance with municipal zoning regulations as he is a personification of the U.S. Federal Government and not State or Local governments.

wow this is a horribly written article on several levels. "most" PC laptops have a rotary dial? decrease vs 'augment'? Randomly throwing in Force Quit commands? Someone just threw whatever they could make up into a post to make a deadline. Please pull it...do the right thing.

@Jason I knew before I even clicked on this post that someone would decry the malformation of that poor MBP. I have to agree with you, though. This is a travesty of digital proportions.

@kushkush For those not in the know, what the author means is that near the end of the cable on the older 27, it splits into three separate cables with the different connections he speaks of. (Realistically, all three cables are inside that one cable, just twisted together until the point where they separate into 3 cables.) The newer 27 only has two of those cables: the mag-safe power and the thunderbolt cables. Since the cable actually splits into 3 (or 2 as it were) cables, this is not a single cable with multiple connectors (interchangeable or otherwise), although some might think that not understanding the design.

Funny yet somewhat serious. I would recommend food, first aid and ammo (which the crossbow covers) first. The rest are nice to haves.

Love the first pic with the tapestry. I had something similar in my college dorm with some handemade peruvian bed sheets I picked up while on spring break in Lima. I used to daydream a lot while staring at the designs. Nice set of offices.
