I loved this Cure...my whole apartment transformed. I finished it late so I didn't get to turn in photos but I documented the whole process on my site. I was amazed that this much significant change could occur in such a short time. I did this in school and would get myself in trouble - "this" being working ahead. I hung something last week because I was so excited about the new home improvements. I think it is about right though. I'll check it for today's assignment!

The media fast wasn't as tough as I thought it would be but I also cheated a bunch! I will have to try this again.
Having said that I got a lot out of it. Almost too much. I got really behind on my blogging - got a little too relaxed. I can see how much of an all or nothing personality I have!

I fixed something last week! This week was really busy so I don't think I'm going to get to anything. I want to fix the way the curtains hang in my bedroom but it will have to wait. I did get my garage cleaned out and that is a huge fix. http://bit.ly/dfOUII I have to say that I feel more like I would fix something just from having watched this video...like I could do a "reach" project.

I work from home and the internet is part of it...there is no real "get home from work" so I am going to have to just decide to be done at some point! This one is hard which means it is really needed. Thank you for the kick in the butt I need.

I buy flowers from local farmers - usually at the farmers market. This time I went to Whole Foods so I'm not sure where they came from. I appreciate everyone's comments regarding this issue. I loved today's video and feel this ritual is going to stick for me.

Since the 20/20 cure I sleep better, I don't take my computer to bed, I don't work in my bedroom because I have an "office" and a proper couch. I love everything about how my home feels so much more that I just function better in every way. Already I feel transformed. Thank you Max and Apartment Therapy!

(By the way, I'm a professional organizer! I was already organized and clean but focusing on my home in a different way has made a big difference for me and has given me more to offer my clients.)

I had already pared it down but realized I could do more. College was over 15 years ago - time to let it go! I'm keeping novels I will actually reread or books that can't be found anywhere. That is it. What is so amazing is that with shelves half empty I can see what I have and it makes me want to read what I have. I have an amazing poetry collection that I didn't make good use of because it was kindof hidden. Not anymore!

I think someone in these comments mentioned being wary of getting rid of cds...I have a few backups and then also offsite backup. Mozy.com is one - very inexpensive - about $5 a month. All my music is backed up offline (in case of fire) and in external drives. One drive here with me and another offsite with a friend....again - in case of theft or fire.

I made my list and within hours a friend called asking if I wanted her end tables and a heater - both of those were on my list. Pretty amazing!

I have a new couch, credenza, curtains all over the house and am getting a dog (unplanned) .... all because of the 20/20 Cure. I'm convinced even the dog is a result of this process! It is so funny - I just partnered up with my friend who has an eco blog, so I have all #lowimpact cleaning products right now! I don't think I commented today but I can't remember! It is so late in LA .. oy ... Anyway .. I LOVED today's exercise. I love getting rid of things. As a professional organizer myself this is a fun one for me. So I actually got rid of a lot of things today. I couldn't stop! I also have an outbox already but don't really ever use it. That is something I don't struggle with - making decisions about getting rid of things. Don't anyone be envious ...
