Very nice! One of my favorite AT house tours. Glen, do you have any more details on your bedroom door/closet doors and the bathroom door? The previous owners of our Eichler have bastardized the doors in our house and the ones you have have would fit perfectly... Gorgeous! I am bookmarking this - I hope my house will look as nice as this. Someday. One can dream, right? :) Boodalee mama, can you share the source of your terrazzo tile i.e. "Grand Canal" by Venix? We're looking to put terrazzo tile in our house, but haven't been able to source anything interesting locally. Hi Angela: Which Eichler tract are you in? We just moved into our Eichler this past weekend (we're in the Rancho Verde tract in Sunnyvale). Very exciting! You might want to give Lou Villar at Villar Restorations a shout. Room&Board had Lou do some repair work (not reupholstering though) on our sectional. He did a great job. If I am not wrong, the San Francisco Room&Board contracts out a lot of their furniture repair work to Villar Restorations. We've had the Malm bed with the side tables for a couple years now and absolutely love it. It's clean, modern, and pretty darn sturdy. And inexpensive. Though it is a little difficult to make the bed and tuck the sheets in perfectly without hurting your fingers because the mattress sits very snuggly inside the bed frame.
