Thanks @shannonlat! I have some right now in my shower b/c i read about someone who let the steam from her shower melt the oil and the rub it into her skin. I've used the molten oil after shaving my legs and it makes them SO soft. I cant wait to use it on my face! =)

How do you guys use it to take off your make up? How do you use it as a facial moisturizer? Do you use it at room temp or heat it up first?

@Michelle - the difference between "keep" and "are" is because the word "kosher" refers to a set of laws. Therefore, you can't be a law, you keep it.

anyways, commenters please try not to perpetuate too many stereotypes here. I don't want to get angry at my favourite website to procrastinate reading...

I'm on the fence about freezing tomatoes, but i think the idea of freezing peppers just blew my mind a little. I can't tell you how many times I've made chili and wanted a fresh jalapeno that didn't cost a dollar to buy when in the summer they're 10 cents a piece at the farmstand!

I'm really interested to see the answers to this question too! I'm always jealous of the automatic slicers at the bakery. I wish I could bring in my homemade loaf and ask 'em to slice it =P

For the last two commentors, why don't you and your respective fiances pick a chairty that you care about and let guests donate in your name? I recently started raising money for the American Cancer Society and its been really wonderful how my family and friends have come out to support. I imagine that if you're having a wedding and don't want gifts, this would be a great way to 1. Let guests give a gift and 2. Donate to a great charity. Then at the reception you could make an announcement about how much money the guests help donate. The more that I think about it, the more I really like the idea, but that's me =)

Happy wedding planning everyone!

@MW17

did you follow a program? I've been really wanting a cleanse after seeing my eating habits steadily decline since about November. its my first year of grad school so with stress, I keep craving comforting food like mac n cheese and pizza. I make an effort to buy a lot of root veggies (they're in season where I live) and kale whenever I'm at the supermarket and then cook big batches of roasted veggies, but once they're consumed, I go straight for the mac and cheese. Your "cleanse" sounds really doable. Can you send me a link to a weekly meal plan or something like that?

caedstrom - I'm a huge fan of boxed mac&cheese - not for the nutrition, but the comfort foodiness it provides. The "healthier" versions like Annies just don't cut it. There's an odd aftertaste thats not present in a Kraft or Velveeta box. (disclosure - I'm 26 and have been eating boxed mac for oh, about 20 years now... actually probably less since my mom thought boxed mac was gross so she didnt make it too often...)

the best I've gotten is to melt american cheese singles (even organic ones) over noodles with butter. It isn't the same, but tastes just as artificial =)

I'm excited to see what people add in here! Also - Moshe, if your kids eat tomatoes try chopping one up and adding it to the mac&cheese - its REALLY good and adds a little bit of nutrition to the dinner

awesome idea. I'm a TJs addict and haven't seen this one yet. I love the idea of adding it to hummus to make "roasted" red pepper hummus. I bet it'd be good on homemade baked tofu
