thank you Mrs Mack! Half the point of the post was that dumping them all together worked FINE for the toddler. Now that he's seven (notice how much bigger the "After" shoes all are??) she's come up with her clever idea. Use Tension Rods To Tidy Up Toddler Shoe Storage Pancakes and French Fries |

I wish I'd thought of this before we just sprayed the hinge with WD40.... sure it stopped squealing, but the hinges got so lubricated that the door would just swing shut on its own all the time. We had to get a doorstop to prop it open How To Silence a Squeaky Door Naturally |

My husband rocks the safety razor (and from time to time tries his hand with an even more old fashined straight razor) and for the ladies I can attest that #1. they are AWESOME for the underarms for the same reason that #2. they are terrible terrible terrible for the legs. Reason: all the weight is in the head and ours is so perfectly balanced for a downward stroke that its effortless. Your face/armpit seems to shave iteself. (The up-stroke, necessary for leg shavin', is awkward and difficult.) Why I Gave Up on My Electric Razor for Good |

Me? I'd say leave the hacking for IKEA furniture. That dresser looked like a sleek and sophisticated midcentury piece I'd have been HONORED to own... but all trolloped up like that it looks like the owner was ashamed of it. Before & After: A Colorful Refinished Vintage Dresser |
