I did that! Using the Ikea Eina that is. Used their sultan mattress too. If you use the mattress, you'll have to put foam or batting around it or on top so you don't show the ribbing that is in the mattress. I covered it with fabric (you want to use pretty sturdy fabric or upholstery fabric) and put a bunch of pillows on top. You want to have the mattress high enough so that when you sit down you don't feel the edge of the bed. Very comfy and cozy, and a guest bed too, but it does still look a bit like a bed. Partially because of how the legs are positioned maybe, and the finish of the Eina. But there is plenty you could do about that - paint, cover with fabric, contact paper, etc. I'm thinking of eventually using a platform bed instead. That way it will also be easier to have two and put them next to each other (at a right angle).

It's hard to pick one favorite, but the latest is the soundtrack from Juno.

On July 4th, my husband cooked wonderful filet mignon (yummm), though a bit on the rare side for a friend of mine. The thermometer would help!

We have both. We have a dimmer in the living room and we did not have dimmable CFLs, and now I know they exist. We didn't buy any new incandescents though, we have some left over. We have halogen in the kitchen, CFLs in the bathroom... The light doesn't bother me so far, however the noise (ok, light humming sound), does. I haven't seen any other comments about it, but I swear they make a noise that incandescents don't. Deaf as I am, it can get to me.

I love Angela Adams. If I win, I might just buy myself her Fern rug.

It depends - creamy milk chocolate in the afternoon, dark chocolate and red wine in the evening, hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, orange flavored chocolate, any kind of chocolate.
