Love yogurt dips (including tzatziki)! You can use pretty much any herb depending on what you plan on eating it with. And they're great in place of mayo if you're making a potato or chicken salad.

Red bliss potato salad with greek yogurt dip (splash of apple cider vinegar, green onions, a little garlic, & parsley),thick cut bacon, and hard boiled eggs = delicious.

Yup, they're delicious! So good with taleggio, or on their own.

I think a baby tub is great for people who have a shower but no tub, otherwise I don't really understand their purpose. If anyone swears by theirs though, then more power to you, whatever makes life a little easier for new parents!

I can see what you love about this place! That said, you're right, the carpet is bad. Any chance there's hardwood underneath (that your landlord would let you uncover)? Even if it's not in great condition it would look a million times better. If ripping up the carpet really isn't an option, I would suggest large neutral area rugs (jute rugs can be very affordable) with some bright patterned ones scattered throughout. I would check West Elm and Anthropologie for the patterned rugs, as they constantly have something on sale.

Love the idea of a gallery wall, lots of us try it but you actually have the space to do it right! And there are certainly plenty of places in the city to buy great art. Maybe wait for the next First Friday and head into Old City (who doesn't like free cocktails while they shop?).

I prefer layout #2 (like others have suggested, try a smaller sectional). Also, I think if you went with a sectional that had a chaise lounge, rather than a full back it would really open up the space. Would a sectional with the chaise on the right side rather than the left work?

Personally, I love the look of worn-in marble. I feel like the best kitchens look chic and used, and marble is the perfect material for this.

Lovely! Just because the "before" wasn't a complete disaster doesn't mean the owner didn't have the right to change it to suit her taste. Given the means I would have probably done the same thing.
