Yay, I am glad to see our first non US entry. A very cool apartment, and I love how much character those wooden floors have.

When you say it is a renovated old school building, does that mean it actually once was a school. Or is that just saying its "old school"?

Janet, i agree on the rubbishola thing, i can't possibly vote that way on anyones place, not matter how bad, it just seems rude.

Joe, I like to hear the background information that you just pulled this together. It is really tough being first out of the gate. Congrats on a nice space, I imagine in a year or so, this place will be awesome from head to toe.

Great bathroom. The living room wall is a little bare. I love to see people that put their own sweat into a place. You have a nice leg up because the unit's architecture is so cool.

The bathroom is great and I am assuming this place is owned not rented. The place looks huge, and I guess that is a testament to their rearranging of the unit.

The living room doesnt seem to fit at all to me compared with the rest of the unit. It like that last photo is from a different apartment all together.

Oh, Ikea as a resource...yawn.

Overall, still pretty great.

I am sure Eric wants the contest to be fun too. I don't know if you have ever participated in sports or not, but the game is only fun if it is fair for both teams. The more fair the game, the more fun.

Also, consider the people who have spent a considerable amount of time and effort to put their places together. Not only that, but with a first prize of $2500, that is more than some people make in a month. It is a considerable prize so people are going to take it seriously.

ScottB and curlygirl, did you enter the contest?
