I keep mine on the landing right opposite the outside of my apartment door, against the railing, where it fits nicely and is easily accessible. Only the handlebar sticks out a little and the nice folks upstairs don't mind at all (I live in a 3 unit building on the middle floor). Another good one is the Ashton floor mirror from CB2 for $129: http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=589&f=4010 I needed a full-length freestanding mirror (harder to find than I expected) for the corner of my bedroom, and this is great and more solid feeling than some other CB2 stuff.
